About Aaron Wolfe
Based in Toronto, Aaron specializes in supporting small and mid-cap private companies, offering strategic guidance, solutions, and resources to help them achieve their growth objectives and execute successful business plans.
Aaron obtained his business degree from the Richard Ivey School of Business at Western University in London, Ontario. He began his career in Consulting at Mercer and later transitioned to Investment Banking at Macquarie Capital Markets Canada, a division of Macquarie Bank.
Later, Aaron entered the realm of principal investing, evaluating companies and their business transactions. Over the years, he has collaborated with various merchant banks and family offices, providing capital solutions and fostering growth initiatives. Aaron has also held positions on the Board of Directors and served as a Named Executive Officer for publicly listed companies.
Aaron has played key roles in driving strategic transactions and investments. Notably, he assisted Black Iron Inc. in securing a joint venture partnership and US$20 million investment with Metinvest BV, paving the way for a commitment to funding half of the equity capital required to construct the iron ore complex. At Rodinia Lithium Inc., Aaron successfully executed the sale of CDN$4.5 million worth of "Potash Stream Preferred Shares," an innovative financing instrument for capital raising after assisting the company in securing a strategic partner in Ningbo Shanshan Co., Ltd., China’s largest lithium-ion battery materials provider at the time.
Aaron co-founded SagePoint Capital Partners in 2022. He serves as a Partner, continuing his dedication to empowering entrepreneurs. His involvement as a founding member or early-stage investor in five businesses that have each achieved enterprise values exceeding $1 billion makes him an invaluable asset for entrepreneurs and companies seeking to unlock their potential.
